What we collect

The Maple Report does not collect any personal information from visitors. We do not require account registration or server-side logins. If you choose to set a display name and language preference, that information is stored only in your own browser using localStorage and is never transmitted to our servers.

Headlines & links

We aggregate publicly available RSS headline feeds from Canadian news outlets. Clicking a headline takes you directly to the original publisher's website. We have no control over those sites' privacy practices.

Advertising

This site uses Google AdSense to display a non-intrusive banner ad. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out at google.com/settings/ads.

Analytics

We may use anonymised analytics (e.g. Vercel Analytics) to understand traffic patterns. No personally identifiable information is stored.
